Alpo Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Most of the shorts that I've been watching have dialogue printed. Subtitles. Frequently they get the words wrong, but they've got subtitles. I noticed that anything violent gets edited. If you take a g*n and point it at someone, and then sh**t them until they are d*ad. Or maybe a soldier will go to w*r. Very strange. But look at this one. The guy is making a cake. He adds butter. And says not to use salted butter. The subtitles when he says that. No s*lt. WHAT??? 1 Quote
Subdeacon Joe Posted October 1 Posted October 1 I'd bet that whatever algorithm the person was using picked up "salt" as "assault" and censored it. I have to say, all the institutional paranoia about any word that may even hint at a weapon or violence being censored is tiresome. 3 2 Quote
Abilene Slim SASS 81783 Posted October 1 Posted October 1 (edited) I don’t see any subtitles in the video. Check your YouTube preferences and turn subtitles off by clicking on the little CC icon in the upper right of the YT window. Edited October 1 by Abilene Slim SASS 81783 Quote
Cypress Sun Posted October 1 Posted October 1 I wonder what would of happened if the title had an apostrophe between the t and s in fruits. 1 Quote
Alpo Posted October 1 Author Posted October 1 Hopefully I would not be the only one reaching the conclusion that there is another moron that does not know that apostrophes do not belong in plurals. Quote
Windy City Kid Posted October 1 Posted October 1 So, on social media, if you and I are playing football later, and I say I'm going kill/hurt/maim you later, I get flagged immediately. And YT automatically picks up this as well. So why can't it pick up nut jobs that post the extreme *&%^ and flag those??? Someone posts a pick of them and they're kid having fun hunting or at the range and gets demonetized, but the evil d-bags that show their weapons with crap written all over them and say out loud their plans . . . sigh. 2 Quote
