Today at 1:40 pm marks 3 years since our little man Tysen James has been walking hand in hand with the Lord.

Still to this day I do not and not sure if I will ever understand why he was taken so soon. But I know that the Lord has his reasons and we don’t always know or understand them. He has bigger plans for him.

I have so much to say about him and how things happened but I will keep it short.

Tysen went to be with the Lord today three years ago. He was a hero as he left us as his kidneys were donated to a young man in New England.

The Lord has continued to bless our family even after this life changing event. I’m not sure why but he does. For the longest time I had lots of anger and frustration towards the Lord for my pain. It took me a very long time to release that anger and frustration to allow myself to be close to the Lord again.

I share this with you all as you all have been part of the blessings brought to our family.  The video I’m posting was made for Tysen’s service by a fellow brother of our church at the time. I have never shown this video to anyone that was not at the service.

I pray for anyone that has or is going through tough trying times. I pray for anyone that may have been pulled away from the Lord and pray that you find peace and your way back to him as he is GREAT.  I pray for anyone that has felt or feels like I do to this day about losing someone so close that you find the strength to fight those feelings and thoughts and not to drift from the Lord. May the strength you get and have from the Lord  be stronger than anything that is thrown into your path by evil.

Sorry for the long winded words I tried to keep it short. If anyone needs someone to talk to or anything about their situation I am a message away. I have not opened up to anyone about our story and I know that is part of my healing.

Everyone Stay Safe and Strong.

You are very welcome. I know Tysen would want everyone to know about the Lord and how amazing the Lord is. He had a very strong love for the Lord that was such an amazing site to see.

As Subdeacon Joe said, thanks for sharing.

I'm going to paraphrase what King David said when he lost his 1st born son from Bathsheba.  It wasn't his 1st born son, but it was

the 1st with Bathsheba.

Paraphrased:  'We won't always have them with us..... but ONE DAY, we shall go to be with them'.

God Bless!

Exactly 35 minutes ago I did the honor walk with Tysen through the hallways of the PICU as the transplant team walked him to the operating room. As they walked through the final set of double doors as I buckled to my knees letting go of his hand knowing that would the the last I touched him or saw him.
