Historical Figures with Heterochromia

We had a guy at work that had two different colored eyes. Nice enough guy, always came to work on time everyday but was a mediocre electrician. It was always a strange feeling when giving him instructions or talking to him. I didn't want to seem rude, but I always found myself concentrating on his bright blue eye (his other was brown) even though I tried not to.

He worked there for a little over a year, but he maxed out in pay based on his ability and quit when he didn't get a raise he asked for. Never saw him again, not even at the supply houses, after that.

I went to high school with a guy that had a brown eye and blue eye. Everyone thought it was strange but no one made fun of it. He was a big dude, got drafted in college by the Cleveland Browns. He played one year, defense, got hurt and never went back. Pretty bad leg injury.

My cousin Mike got metal in one of his eyes from a grinder and had all sorts of problems because of it. They ended up transplanting the retina in that eye and he had a green eye and a blue eye. I worked with a guy who had a green eye and brown eye and like Cyprus Son says it was hard not to focus on just one eye when looking at him.

Seems to be fairly common among cats and dogs.  Some of the American Indian tribes I've been around thought a dog with heterochromia was charmed.  Called them "Medicine Eyes".  I see some of them quite frequently around here.
