A well-bred nudist carries a towel wherever he goes, so he does not accidentally leave skid marks on the furniture.

While, as a nudist, he cannot use the hem of his t-shirt to clean his glasses, he can use the edge of his towel.

But where does he hang the towel when he's not... oh, never mind.B)

He doesn't hang it. It is either in his hand or on the chair.

I understand your joke - haha - but but I used to work with several naturalists, and I know much about the lifestyle, although I have never done it myself.

I did electrical work in a nudist colony's resort's clubhouse and pool area for about a week. For those who think a nudist colony resort would be sexy, guess again...it's VERY far from it.

Can't even use the old electrician's joke 'I'm here to remove your shorts.'

Yep, had my crew working on pole line at one! Went out to see the crew once and once only!!! They were splicing cable and hanging terminals around the property. I had a car at the time and wasn't real amused by the old guy at the entrance hanging his junk by my window sill while checking me in. Didn't see a single young lady in the bunch. Maybe the views are better on the weekends 🤣.

nudist colony

That's offensive. It's a nudist resort.

Nudist colony sounds too much like leper colony - someplace where they shove people that they don't want to let out among decent folk.

Do they clean their ass before they sit down?

Me thinks you clean it somewhere between standing and flushing.

im not sure i want to be told whats offensive - when thats what it was called back in the day , im not changing my speech patterns to protect someones feeling that should possibly consider that not everyone talks like you just because you said to ,

but , ive not got first hand experience with this topic - ever in my lfe - so ill let it go at that ,

Well I kind of understand your "that's what it was called back in the day" thought.

But you need to remember that back in the day they called Mexican spics and Chinese chinks. But you're not supposed to do that today because that's offensive.

Just because they did it back in the day don't mean you still okay to do it today. Things change.

And, while we're on this subject, I wasn't talking to you. You weren't in that conversation at all.

Did you hear about the nudist camp that made one guy grow a really long beard so he could into town for groceries?

as always i find your comment to be accurate , but , i grew up in a household that didnt disparage race or heritage with the slang of the era , i never used those terms and neither did any of my family , we also didnt disparage anyones religion , if being a nudist fit those categories i suspect id have been raised knowing that ,

in my recollection , as cloudy as 3/4 century may leave those , i cant recall nudists being considered any different than those that joined the hippy colonies back in the 60s , actually - i recall charlie mansons "colony of misfits" being rather disdained , and i do remember that cult proving this multiple times in history ,

A wise man once said that nobody can offend you without your permission.

In the same line of thinking, there's a whole bunch of people out there who are just LOOKING to be offended, you can't HELP but to offend them. If they take offense at something I say that I DIDN'T mean to be offensive, that's on them. And if I MEAN to be offensive, there will be NO doubt in anyone's mind as to my intent.

In 1990 two people I worked with along with some others started a resort. Curiously, I just didn't DID A search, and it's still there.

amen to that brother , im never trying to offend in general but if i ever get to that point no-one will misunderstand my intent , im a really amiable sort in my later years , i try not to get riled by all the BS thats getting thrown around daily , i can generally see a shiny side to every gray day or moment in time , i seldom take a lot of offense as i figure there is reason behind it i cannot see but am willing to hear ,

i do have a point , and i do have a temper , but ive learned to control both , after 3/4 century of life ive got that figured out mostly .....

doesnt mean ill not offend you down the road but means i might apologize for it if i do , probably means it was not my intent , might mean i did it inadvertently not realizing i was doing it ,

but when i do have intent you will know it - ill be obvious and persistent and ill not let it go ,

nice thing is i seldom ever get there these days , no future in that and in most cases there is another approach that works better ,

i dont look for trouble , but ill meet it head on ,
