I see the headlines, but I’m making a point not to read the articles for a few days. Gonna let the dust settle a bit. Right now, all the “news” looks more like a dust devil blowing across the highway.

Not a bad approach. The crap is flying hard and fast right now. I'm posting on what is on the edge of legitimacy, to the extent I am seen as a voice of reason. Doubt I would convince anyone, might help some be slower on reposting crap.

The biggest tribute to Mr. Kirk is what DIDN'T happen. 

Business DIDN'T  board up their windows in anticipation of riots. 

Big cities DIDN'T mobilize their police forces and riot squads.

Conservatives DIDN'T run riot through the streets,  looting and burning as they swept through like locusts. 

Yes, it isn't what happen that was the tribute,  but all the things that DIDN'T happen.

No I haven't but I've heard about liberals disrupting prayer vigils for Charlie Kirk with shouts and violence and that's terrible, it's just as bad as Westboro Baptist or Proud Boys. Looting and burning is also terrible but that's people taking advantage of the protests as an opportunity to get away with crimes, not part of the protest. I've never heard that theft and property damage are liberal crimes. There's plenty of violent crime by conservatives but I agree with you that we don't protest in the streets much, that's probably because we're usually the ones being protested. 

One other thing, you're absolutely right that lots of people are having vigils for Charlie Kirk and not filling the streets with protest and it's the right thing to do, but I've also heard people say that this murder proves liberals are evil and we have to shut them down by any means, and it's being said as a call to arms. It's only a few people and hopefully they won't be listened to, but there's crazy and evil people on both sides that are just looking for an excuse to do things like this. We can't ignore that and let liberals be the only ones that condemn it.

Crazy and evil people on both sides? Yea probably 99 % left to 1% right. Where’s the violent crimes by conservatives? Can you give one example?

Okay the Proud boys and Westboro Baptist Church are two examples of conservative protests that are violen and that’s pretty much it. On the left there’s countless protest groups , BLM, ANTIFA, LGBT, and several Anti- Christian groups as well as Anti Jewish groups.

It appears Charlie debated this guy a few weeks before the shooting. From the video you can get a better understanding of the scumbag and his beliefs. Some say it is Tyler and others say it isn't. I don't really know but this guys definitely has the attitude that I can see go off and shoot someone. He is angry at the world.

Most of the capital cities in Australia held huge well attended candlelight memorial gatherings to honour and remember Charlie Kirk over the weekend. He was due to visit soon to speak here as there is a Turning Point Australia organisation as well and he had a huge following.

He seemed to have a backpack or duffel, but... was it large enough to hold the scoped Mauser 98 found later in the "park area?"

In the message to Robinson’s roommate, he describes the rifle as having a collapsible stock installed and gives further details about it. With the collapsible stock on several of my rifles in the fully collapsed position, they’re eight to ten inches shorter.

 

In much of the video showing the suspect crossing the roof and then the stretch of grass, if you look closely, you’ll notice that it appears something black is dangling from his hand or a belt at times as he runs.

 

The picture is not clear enough to make out what it is.

I thought about that.  But the picture the media was supposedly provided from the FBI does not have a collapsible stock.

I saw one woman who online supported Kirks shooting. Now that she claims she has received death threats because of it she says that if someone who doesn't like your politics resorts to violence They have a serious problem. But again, only for the other side. No self awareness.
