38 spl load data Winchester Super Lite

Anyone know any load data for 38 spl 105 or 125 grain bullets and Winchester Super Lite WSL8? I know its an old  ball powder. Picked this up back when first reloading and never used it.

PS: Don't find powder in cans like this anymore.🤠

I'll bet somebody near you would happily swap you a good pistol powder for it.

Does it not work for pistols? It is for shotguns I believe.

that powder is as rare as as hens teeth. It is great for light cowboy SG loads. Someone in the area will love to trade you out of it.

For .38 Special,  try 3.0-3.2 gn.

Use a firm roll-crimp.

ill double down on that load above , but start low at 3grn - these old powders have lots less data but can be very affective in use , it wont be long till we will be saying the same of red dot , clays , and a few others but new powders will become common ,

Loaded a few at 2.8 and went well. Do.not have a chrono but it was behind 125 gr bullets. No dirtier on the brass than clays. Think it will work fine. Would like to chrono somehow someday.  Need to run a few more.

sounds like you hit in , on , or near your load  , id stick with that if it made you happy
