Addendum:  I contacted a local reloading store.  He mentioned the Midway had it, and sold it out in about 15 minutes.   BUT, he also said he spoke the Hodgdon rep last week, who told him he'll be getting a shipment something in the 4th quarter, so he put me on his list to contact when he gets' some.   HOORAY!

It will be interesting to see how it compares to old Trail Boss.  I just loaded some 30-30 rounds from a bottle I just opened and the point-of-impact at 200-yds increased by 8-inches.

Brownells now has it in stock right now..  I was able to place an order.  I'll share what I find when it arrives.  We'll see if the packaging, etc are the same as to old stuff.

Brownells has the 9oz bottles in stock (for now).  Sold out of 2-pounders.   At 44.99 + shipping + hazmat, I'll pass.  I'm still working through a couple of 8-pound jugs of Clays.

The $45 price is not TOO bad, but I bet the hazmat/shipping makes it ridiculous.

Trail Boss is not yet shown as a cataloged powder for Cabelas.  Wait until it is available online, then order some for local pickup (no HAZMAT or shipping charges).

We get it in 1.5kg (3.3lb) bottles. What is your price for them including shipping?

 

EDIT: I looked at the Bruno site. Even in Australia we pay nearly 40% more for the equivalent weight in powder and the powder is made here.

It's made here but it's AU$400.00 for 1,5kg (3.3lbs) and mostly on back order. That's US$250.00 approx.

Yes, I cracked them all open and they were all full to the top.  It's been a long time since I've had anything but the 2lb and 5lb jugs, so I can't remember if the old bottles came that full.

Powder Valley's website shows Trail Boss in stock with a limit of five bottles per customer.  I just finished loading a big batch of 30-30 rounds with Trail Boss.  The contents of two bottles disappeared quickly.

Signing up for e-mail notifications is a way to learn when supply is placed for sale.  Just place an order immediately for a chance of scoring some powder.  I found the PV supply using ammoseek.
