Rattlesnake Slim Posted August 14, 2025 Posted August 14, 2025 Tomorrow, August 15th at 10:00 am Arizona Time (use Google if you’re not sure), End of Trail registration will open. Online registration and printable applications will be available on the EOT website HERE . Speed and Long Range matches are still free to competitors and conventioneers, however this year there is an area to indicate your intention to participate. We are asking for this to make sure that we have an adequate number of volunteers to staff all of the events. Please indicate if you are CONSIDERING shooting the side matches in the space provided. Thank you for your continued support as we work to bring you the best World Championship matches ever. See you in February!
La Sombra Posted August 14, 2025 Posted August 14, 2025 Question: Do Conventioneers count towards the total maximum shooter count? Thanks, La Sombra
Rattlesnake Slim Posted August 14, 2025 Author Posted August 14, 2025 No, only main match shooters. But registered Conventioneers can attend all evening events as well as shoot the side matches.
Diego Kid #4631 Posted August 15, 2025 Posted August 15, 2025 Suggestions as to decent hotel/motel to stay at???

The closest is the Hampton Inn in Anthem, about 7 miles north on I-17. There are also numerous hotels south of Ben Avery near I-17 and Happy Valley Road, 9 miles south. Hotel prices peak in late February and March due to Spring Training, spring break, and numerous other events that make March the busiest time of the year in Phoenix. Many of our participants find it cheaper and easier to go the FRBO/Air BNB route, especially if you can share with others. There is also a page on our website HERE giving RV rental info. Dry camping on the range is $15 per night, and full hookups may still be available through Ben Avery, see the link on the RV rental page.. Don't hesitate to contact me by PM if you have questions.
Diego Kid #4631 Posted August 15, 2025 Posted August 15, 2025 Thanks Rattlesnake Slim. No RV. Thought about tenting, but would like to have a shower available.
Rattlesnake Slim Posted August 15, 2025 Author Posted August 15, 2025 Showers at the Ben Avery Shooter's East campground are available to dry campers.
Diego Kid #4631 Posted August 15, 2025 Posted August 15, 2025 Showers at the range!!!! I'm liking that. That might be the way to go. Thanks. I'd be coming myself.
Rattlesnake Slim Posted August 15, 2025 Author Posted August 15, 2025 You will have to drive to the showers from the dry camping area. Porta potties are all that's available in the dry camp area.
Flying W Ramrod Posted August 15, 2025 Posted August 15, 2025 Still wondering who's writing the stages and who's vetting them. Worried about a repeat of last EOT.
Billy Boots, # 20282 LTG-Regulator Posted August 16, 2025 Posted August 16, 2025 Thanks to all who made registration so easy.
