Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted August 6, 2025 Author Posted August 6, 2025 I had a sign on my desk when I was a Company Commander: "Always behave like a duck: Remain calm and unruffled on the surface and paddle like hell underneath." It was a gift from my office staff. I left it for my replacement.
Linn Keller, SASS 27332, BOLD 103 Posted August 7, 2025 Posted August 7, 2025 Our commanding LCOL had a fake grenade mounted on a small base with a tag dangling from the pin ... red, rectangular, with number 1 on it. The sign beside the grenade said "Complaint department, take a number."
