Wartrace Regulators ROBS + CAS Class 8/27/25

Wartrace Regulators will be hosting an ROBS + CAS class on Wednesday August 27, 2025. RO1 and RO2 classes have been replaced with Range Operations and Basic Safety which is the same for Cowboy Action Shooting and Wild Bunch. Then they add the CAS module or the WBAS module. We are hoping to get a Wild Bunch Instructor in the area so we can offer Wild Bunch at a later date.

The class will begin promptly at 9am and we expect it to last 5-6 hours. We will take breaks and a short lunch break so please bring whatever you need to eat. We will have cold water (free) and cold drinks and some snacks for sale. Randy Saint Eagle and Whiskey Hayes will be conducting the class. Fees are $25 for the ROBS and $5 for the CAS Module so $30 total. Instructors are doing this for free so what doesn't go to SASS will go to the club. This is a new course so right now there are no refresher classes.

If interested, please email me at rws2700@comcast.net with your alias.

Thanks
Randy Saint Eagle

I just taught my first ROBS course with CAS module on Saturday. Took approximately 5 1/2 hours with a couple breaks. Well received and students seemed to learn quite a bit. Will try to put on another ROBS with Wild Bunch sometime in mid September or October.
Very exciting stuff!

Wishing you great success!

I appreciate the input, I estimated 4-6 hours so it looks like I should be able to stay in that timeframe. I'm not a Wild Bunch Black Pin so I can't teach it, hopefully we can get a Wild Bunch Instructor in our area before too long.

Thanks

Thanks to all who have contacted me, we are now full with 12 students, 2 instructors and an instructor in training. I'll be sending an email in a few days with more information to all who have said they will attend. I am excited to see how this new class goes compared to the old ones.

If anyone else is interested I'll start a waiting list in case someone has to drop out.

We have another class in the works for Saturday Jan. 31, 2026

Thanks again

Due to the continued interest in this class Whiskey Hayes and I have decided to split the class and teach 2 classes.  One will be in the Wartrace School House and the other will be in the office.  We are now up to 16 students and have room for more.

Thanks

We had our classes last Wednesday and I thought it went very well. We had 13 students in one class and 4 in the other. In the larger class we took a couple of breaks and ate lunch during the ROBS test. We were finished in about 6 1/4 hrs. The smaller class finished in a little under 6 hrs.  Thank you to everyone who came and participated in the class. 🤠
