And, they are considerably smaller. PARTS for the three wheel carts ARE AVAILABLE! There is NO plan to discontinue parts. Some of the really old carts don’t have parts available.. but the carts that fold with the joint in the middle of the frame (not the screw) will have parts availability! Hugs! So, there will be deals for both “cheap” and “frugal” sorts! 😉😘😂 Hugs! Scarlett 4 1 Quote

Guns, holsters, gun belts and gun modifications must conform to the rules and may, or may not, use period correct materials. There have never been cart material/appearance/construction rules that I'm aware of. There are many items directly involved in a SASS match that are NOT period correct...that blue plastic thing that beeps for one! 3 Quote

Vail Vigilante Posted July 15 Posted July 15 Scarlett, You should tell them to replace one of the wheels with a powered wheel like they have on electric scooters. Then you hit a button and you have a power-assisted cart. Not all ranges are flat...... I have been thinking of just doing it myself.......... But if I could buy something from them to slap on there that would be the easy button...... 1 Quote

It worked strictly on friction. To use the bearings required additional washers. I used 3/4 inch split lock ring washers. On smooth surfaces wheel diameter does not matter. Once you are at ranges with uneven surfaces small diameter wheels put a lot of pressure on the wheel fork. Edited July 15 by wyliefoxEsquire 1 Quote

Easy to covert the 3 wheel, front wheel bushings to shoulder ball bearings. Quote

wyliefoxEsquire Posted July 16 Posted July 16 (edited) I spoke with Barb at Rugged Gun Cart last September. Our front kork was destroyed . See photo. We got a replacement for $25, a fair price. I installed it with her assistance see photo. After a few exchanges I was unhappy with the recommended installation, so I replaced one of the suggested washers with a 3/4 split ring washer. See photo. This solved the problem. The wheel now turns using the bearing and the top nut is fully tightened, keeping the folk solid. I have installed this system for other users. I guess if you have that kind of extra money it's okay, but many of us don't. That's the price of a cowboy gun. Quote
