Scarlett,

Are the new front wheels the same as the old single front wheel? Or are they smaller? Hope they are the same for future parts availability.

Gonna need a whole lot more than 10% discount with a retail of $1400. I will stay with my old 3 wheel 4 gun deluxe cart for as long as it lasts.

Youngson

These are completely different front wheels that spin on their own and remove easily for storage or travel. And, they are considerably smaller.

PARTS for the three wheel carts ARE AVAILABLE! There is NO plan to discontinue parts. Some of the really old carts don’t have parts available.. but the carts that fold with the joint in the middle of the frame (not the screw) will have parts availability!

Dang!  I’m gonna stick with my repurposed jogging stroller!  I could put that money toward a new set of guns!

Maybe I’m just cheap.  Or frugal………

It’s about priorities and where we choose to spend our money.  With the new cart, there will be some of the Three Wheelers coming available on the “used” market! So, there will be deals for both “cheap” and “frugal” sorts! 😉😘😂

So, costume, holsters, gun belts, guns and gun modifications must be period correct and use period correct materials.  Carts, immune?  Whoda thunk it!  Then again, been a loooong time since I shot a match.  Live long & prosper!

There’s not a lot that’s period correct…. More like “of the time”. Come back and shoot with us!

What's the difference  between the 929.00

Guns, holsters, gun belts and gun modifications must conform to the rules and may, or may not, use period correct materials. There have never been cart material/appearance/construction rules that I'm aware of.

There are many items directly involved in a SASS match that are NOT period correct...that blue plastic thing that beeps for one!

Parked in the parking lot, walked into the range.  Another place in time, for a while I used a 2 long gun case with a shoulder strap and a shoulder bag for ammo.  Revolvers holstered, unloaded.  A different era. More fun, at least for me.

Ya still can!  Heck; take a buckboard from home to the match! 😉

Cheers,

Scarlett,

You should tell them to replace one of the wheels with a powered wheel like they have on electric scooters.

Then you hit a button and you have a power-assisted cart.

Not all ranges are flat......

I have been thinking of just doing it myself..........

But if I could buy something from them to slap on there that would be the easy button......

Recruit some new, young shooters.  They help push the cart uphill.

Do the new front wheels have and actually have bearings.  The three wheel version had bearings but the design did not make use of the bearings.  It worked strictly on friction. To use the bearings required additional washers. I used 3/4 inch split lock ring washers.

On smooth surfaces wheel diameter does not matter.  Once you are at ranges with uneven surfaces small diameter wheels put a lot of pressure on the wheel fork.

Easy to covert the 3 wheel, front wheel bushings to shoulder ball bearings.

I don’t know. My own cart is arriving tomorrow. I will be making an “unboxing” video of it and will let you know!

I spoke with Barb at Rugged Gun Cart last September.  Our front kork was destroyed .  See photo.

We got a replacement for $25, a fair price.

I installed it with her assistance see photo.

After a few exchanges I was unhappy with the recommended installation, so I replaced one of the suggested washers with a 3/4 split ring washer. See photo.

This solved the problem.  The wheel now turns using the bearing and the top nut is fully tightened, keeping the folk solid.

I have installed this system for other users.

These carts are hardly converted baby strollers. The point is for folks to have the Guncart they are happy with -like you are with your homemade $50 Guncart! 🥰

Not saying they might not be nice, but $1000+ ? I guess if you have that kind of extra money it's okay, but many of us don't. That's the price of a cowboy gun.

How many duplicate SASS 'toys' do you have?
