Why do you suppose the hundreds of these things being offered on the web so damn few (like almost none) show the face of the faves of their remote controllers?

 

What are they hiding?  I'm looking for a Sony style from about six years ago and even Sony only shows one or two patterns, neither of which is like the older one.

 

I can't find a real store that has much of a selection and they almost never have anyone who knows anything.

I have two Samsung blueray players, one for each tv.  They will play regular DVDs, blueray DVDs, and audio CDs.  They also link to Netflix and Prime via our home wifi.  Not very expensive, a bit more than $100 at WalMart or Best Buy, or from Amazon.  
 

What you are looking for may no longer be available.  Adapt and overcome.

It is far easier to believe companies are "hiding" things and assume some great conspiracy.
