Well, I think a tri-corner is a helluva lot more useful and more military looking than a flippin’ beret.

I'd like to see how those would fit into ANY military aircraft except big cargo haulers.  They're about as useful as a barb wire jock strap.

They’re hideous if you ask me but you didn’t so I said it anyway😂

Y'all have overlooked the intended usefulness.......... you don't have to wear a parachute.

Just spread your coattail and glide to safety..... :)

Actually, those uniforms looks more like an Admirals attire.... but those wings need to be removed.

..........Widder

Notice that I said Dress Uniform. I suppose you went into action wearing

I didn't know George Washington had an air force. I thought George Armstrong Custer was the first military aviator. :unsure:He rode as an observer in one of Thadeus Lowe's balloon, observing Confederate troop movements.)

Custer was so high on himself he didn’t need a balloon.

An elegant garment from a more civilized time.  Jefferson and Franklin would approve.

The only way that outfit would ever get aboard an aircraft would be in luggage.

But the boots are kinda cool.  And on a sunny or rainy day you could un-pin the hat and camp under it.  :)

And if the wind didn't catch it and move you to someplace like Albuquerque.

Chevrons are wrong.  I was a Gunnery Sergeant.

I never did wear that into combat but with the dropping of several items...tie, cummerbund, cover, and all of the shiny stuff...it could have been done.
