What the Flash Flood in Kerrville looked like

This is about 10 to 15 river miles from the confluence of the Hunt and Guadalupe rivers just up stream from Kerrville.

 

Imagine this happening at night. ☹️

I'm no stranger to flooding, but never in my young life have I seen a flood come up this FAST!!

Went from 1" deep still water to 24" deep rapidly moving water in about 30 seconds. You can't stand up in that on slippery ground. Came up 20'++ within 30 minutes. Those poor people in low lying areas never stood a chance.

Thanks for taking the time to find that! Nature is powerful and untamed I can’t imagine being on the ground during this flood.

 

At 9:20 the cameraman gets slapped by a tree giving way right infront of him. Not even he was 100% safe up there!

mine too , there were way too many young lost in this event , and they were there at bible camps , im at a loss for words in this one
