ISO 1897 12 ga shotgun

Recommended Posts

Hello All,

I am looking around for a back-up to my main match shotgun which is to say, a Winchester 1897 (no replicas).  To be more specific, I would really like one that was built in the '50's with a serial number North of 960,XXXX.  However if you have something in primo shape I might be interested no matter the manufacture date.

I'll pay according to condition, of course.  It would be a plus if it's not been cut down.

Thanks,

Dang It Dan

Dan,

Suggestion, remove your phone number, too many scammers. Only communicate via private message and with due diligence. Good Luck. Buying here has become very risky unfortunately.

I’ve already sold his number to info harvesters. By the morning he’ll be invested in a diamond mine and also cinnamon harvesting operation in Southeast Asia.

Damn if I’d known about the cinnamon I wouldn’t have invested in that Canadian copper mine

I have one made in the 50s. Without looking I can’t remember what year. Has the original uncut 28” barrel and a second barrel cut to 20” that is properly fitted to the receiver.
Holds and properly cycles 6 rounds of AAs. I used it for WB but now that I can use my 87, it’s just sitting in the safe.

 I’ll post pictures later tonight.

If you’re interested let me know and we’ll discuss pricing via PMs.
