Alpo Posted June 20 Posted June 20 This isn't my gun, so I have no problem posting this picture. Someone says he has a Smith & Wesson Model 36, serial number BPS70XX. And then he posts the following picture. I don't know - just seems to defeat the purpose of the XX. 1 2 Quote
J-BAR #18287 Posted June 20 Posted June 20 The BPS number was not stamped by the factory. But I understand your question. More pathetic than laughable. Quote

I don't know if they do it with steel guns, but I have aluminum framed guns and I have titanium framed guns and that's how they're marked. 1 Quote
Cypress Sun Posted June 20 Posted June 20 The SSN thing is laughable and shows a lack of common sense....as does posting a picture of a firearm in such deplorable condition. 1 Quote

Sgt. C.J. Sabre, SASS #46770 Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Do you notice when people post pictures of their vehicles they blot out the License Plate number? But every place they drive to, every time it's on the street, the number is on display for all to see. 1 Quote
watab kid Posted June 20 Posted June 20 seems to defeat the XX in my mind but maybe he didnt realize what he was slowing in the photo ? Quote
