Calico Jack Posted June 21 Posted June 21 I have a doofus of a question. How should I be measuring for this type of belt? Is the listed size the full length of the belt or to the center hole on the belt? Quote
Too Tall Bob Posted June 21 Author Posted June 21 (edited) From buckle hook to center hole. 40” the you have a couple and a half inches past the middle hole. Some folks even make an “extender” which is a piece leather belt with holes on one end and a buckle on the other. Measure at or just below your navel. Remember - you’re also going to maybe be wearing suspenders, vest etc under the belt( maybe) hope this helps TTB Edited June 21 by Too Tall Bob 1 Quote

Looks like I measure in around a 38” for this - but I’ll get all dressed up and measure thrice. Quote
Too Tall Bob Posted June 22 Author Posted June 22 (edited) find somebody in the group that you are attending that hlooks like they’re close to your size and ask them if you can try on their shotgun belt. That will tell you right away if you need 36, 38, 40 or 40+ inch plus belt Edited June 22 by Too Tall Bob 1 Quote

I am going to Smoke in the Woods next weekend so I am sure I will be able to find a friend to let me check their belt sizing out. Thank you! Quote
