Dr. Zook Posted June 15, 2025 Posted June 15, 2025 Very good parade, the difference in Army uniforms since 1775 was represented well & all of the different regiments/divisions. I would have liked to have seen more of the units and army bands w/o the constant commentary. Crowd seemed sparse in areas but a patriotic crowd non the less. Last parade that I took part in was Veteran's Day 1987 in service dress blues down to the spitshine oxfords (never liked the corframs) - some people were whining about the heat and winter blues in Az. That came to an abrupt stop when our Master Chief told us to STFU & pointed out a WW1 vet in his full wool uniform marching the entire parade route until he got to the reviewing stand and then took the salute of the marching units behind him at the request of the officials present.
