Those back claws are why a lot of dogs end up being gutted when the tangle with a big roo, if the roo can find water it will immediately enter and go to shoulder height and just wait....if the dog is dumb enough to swim out, its gonna' get drowned.

are they like dogs that can learn or like rabits that are meant to be eaten ?

They can be tamed if taken as joeys and be quite attached to humans......but they are just wild herbivores.
