Trying to make stuff in the US is tough!!

The steel brush scraper is dangerous.. The bristles fall out as yu use it. Ok. Bu tthere was a case where a kid came into the ER with stomach or intestine pain. After a bunch of images they saw a small steel wire stuck in his intestines. Surgery and he was OK. The steel wire was from a BBQ brush.  Went out and tossed mine.

I've gotten 2 of those bristles in my mouth. One stuck into my gum pretty good. After brushing, I do a good wipe down with a folded paper towel in both directions.

A piano tuner I know tried and get a tool manufactured here in Ohio. He wound up getting it made in China for 10x less! Cant blame him. The tool by the was less than a success!🙄

I use wadded up aluminum foil to scrape the grill with. Used to use the wire one until a piece of wire showed up in someone’s fajitas one evening.

For my Weber charcoal grill I use a Weber wire brush. It’s lasted 4 years and still works.

He and his wife had three men and two women working for them making expensive custom golf clubs and pool cues.

 

Wow!  It just occurred to me that he died forty-nine years ago.

Time flies. Getting my Model 12 firing pin or my shot shell checker made here at an affordable price is hard to do.
