Slow Mo Dern Posted June 11 Posted June 11 Outdoor CAS at Brookfield, Ohio! Saturday June 14, 2025! Howdy, ladies, gentlemen, friends, and future friends! The Shenango River Rats will be shooting their CAS match at the Brookfield Conservation Club on Saturday June 14, 2025, down on the cowboy range. The match will be held rain or shine. Doors open at around 9:00 am or before. Lead goes down range at around 10:00 am after a brief safety meeting and the Pledge of Allegiance. Coffee and donuts in the morning. Five fun-filled stages. Tons of fun at last year’s prices! Extra sawbuck gets you Laura’s Cowboy Ham lunch of downhome goodness. Yum! Water will be provided by the club in chug-sized bottles. Use only approved cowboy loads, low velocity lead bullets for rifles and pistols. We haven’t spent much time at the CAS range because of all the rain, mud, and other things that have gone beyond our control, but we’ll have 5 workable stages ready for Saturday. The range took a beating these past months, the weather has kept us away from the routine spring cleanup, and the Shenango River Rat staff has taken a beating too! Come on out and have a good time anyway! One entry per participant and Cowboy Action Shooting only. Hearing and eye protection are mandatory. Spectators and visitors are always welcome! Unless something drastic happens with the weather pattern or we experience some serious divine intervention, we will be having our Saturday match under the roof.
