Waimea Posted May 29 Posted May 29 This match has been my favorite since the first time I went. Copperhead Joe and Catatonic put on a truly entertaining weekend that can stretch into a week. Something for everyone here! 1 1 Quote

Tn Tombstone Posted May 31 Posted May 31 The best time for dessert is before dinner. That way you dont have to worry about leaving room. That is according to Ringer of course. 4 Quote

That is according to Ringer of course. I have always taken this to heart even before I knew Ringer. In fact if I have to choose between dinner and dessert, dessert wins every time. My first judging opportunity at BG was dessert Judge. 3 Quote

I was only there for a couple of hours at most on Thursday morning. Had to meet Widder and Tell Sackett. I was stuck in the truck with my oldest grandson doing my leg work. I couldn’t stay long. I had a couple more stops to make and I probably drove close to 300 miles getting everything done. If I’d been able to walk, I’d probably have stayed all day and let the other errands wait for another day. I’m seeing the orthopedic surgeon this Friday. I’m probably gonna go one more round with the cast, but he’s been really optimistic about my progress! We’ll see… 1 Quote

Doc said 12 weeks at the outside for recovery. That’d put it at June 27th. Figuring an extra week, ‘cause you can’t ever tell, I should have two whole weeks before the actual match! I gimped around last year and made it through the week. I suspect I should be able to do it again!! Might even get to pop off a few rounds!! I’ll be there to help you out with registration, as usual!! 2 Quote
Blackwater 53393 Posted June 11 Author Posted June 11 Just a month left for y’all to get those applications in!! If all goes well, I’ll be there on Monday before the match! ***and I’d bet if you decided to go at the last minute, they might have a spot on a posse for ya’s! But I don’t recommend that!!*** Quote

Back in a walking boot for the time being and I ain’t s’posed to put much weight on the foot for another couple of weeks!! The doc was really REALLY optimistic about a reasonable recovery!! See ya in a few weeks!! 5 Quote
