Shrimp, chicken cutlets, pork, mushrooms.  Or, heck, onions.  Serve with a loaf of good bread.

Actually. properly applied, capers are excellent in many dishes, from a New Orleans Shrimp Poor Boy to a traditional beef stew, or even a Bagel with Smoked salmon & cream cheese.  If you are into cooking, one of the things to have in the arsenal.
