Buckshot Bear Posted May 7, 2025 Posted May 7, 2025 Its easy, and getting easier. Here's a few that I did -
Rip Snorter Posted May 7, 2025 Posted May 7, 2025 Nice work, but as a life long photography enthusiast, I detest the medium.
Buckshot Bear Posted May 7, 2025 Author Posted May 7, 2025 This one was 'Shotgun firing' ...... it doesn't get it right all the time!!!!

Buckshot Bear Posted May 7, 2025 Author Posted May 7, 2025 If you want to have a go and there's LOTS of AI generators, here's one that works OK - https://deepai.org/machine-learning-model/text2img

Started at 8 or 10 years old - got you by some decades. Sot in my ways, the AI is a plague on photography sites..
Buckshot Bear Posted May 7, 2025 Author Posted May 7, 2025 The average Joe wouldn't pick this as AI -

Its just another medium, I suppose landscape painters back in the day thought Ansell Adams would be the death of their medium Post up some of your photos -

Rip Snorter Posted May 7, 2025 Posted May 7, 2025 The last, usually seen through a rifle scope rather than a lens. No AI, Nikons, Nikon lenses and human skills.

Buckshot Bear Posted May 8, 2025 Author Posted May 8, 2025 Some of you will know that I'm a model engineer and that I build, make parts for and repair model stationary steam engines. Now there is definitely some mechanical miscalculations in the below images....BUT the detail is absolutely incredible for simply asking for images of 'Stationary Steam Engine Models' -

Eyesa Horg Posted May 8, 2025 Posted May 8, 2025 We have them in limited quantities here. Couple pairs down at the lake. Every once in a while you get to see 4 sitting on a tree along side the interstate. They're so cool to see!
Subdeacon Joe Posted May 8, 2025 Posted May 8, 2025 2 hours ago, Texas Joker said: Except for the 5 fingers with nubbins and no visible thumb on left hand As he said, the AVERAGE Joe wouldn't catch it. I noticed that the trigger finger wasn't on the trigger because it looked odd as I almost scrolled past it. But take that away and this "average Joe" wouldn't have caught it as AI. I don't stop and OCD analyze every image I see. But the screams of "THAT'S AI!!!!" at every photo is as tiresome as the older, 'THAT'S PHOTOSHOP!" On some threads in other fora, even when I can provide a link to the Library of Congress site, people will swear up, down, and sideways that something is AI.
Alpo Posted May 8, 2025 Posted May 8, 2025 2 hours ago, Buckshot Bear said: That one's not bad. And I don't have a problem with him looking over the top of the scope. Howsomever - The metal receiver of the rifle. That's common on a lever gun, or a pump gun, or an automatic, or a single shot. But a bolt gun? They most generally have a full length stock. So that just looks - funky. Also the front sight looks wrong.

Rip Snorter Posted May 8, 2025 Posted May 8, 2025 Think of the fell potential in legal matters when it is entirely undetectable.
