Howdy,

Our daughter, son-in-law and grandkids are moving to Vicksburg, MS area the end of May. They want my wife and me to follow them there.

After a lot of thought, we have decided to go for it. We need time to prepare for this life changing move so I’m not accepting any gun work at this time. All guns here or on the way will be finish and returned within two weeks. After we get moved, I’ll see about setting up as an FFL in MS.

“The parts business will continue to run uninterrupted as before. This includes during and after the move.” We have plans to expand it once we’re settled in.

To all my loyal customers and friends, all I can say is, Thank You!!

You mean that I can drop off my guns within the state and not have to mail them? Hold me back!

Allow me. Welcome to the Great State of Mississippi! YeeHaw!

You are my hero as I got my first guns and later more guns from you and I have  watched all your videos more than once.  Loved you were a Texas guy but moving does not change that.  No matter where you live you will be one of my hero’s.  Wishing you and your family the best.

Poor LongHunter, just got a new best friend and didn't even know he needed one. Now he is gonna have this little puppy dog running around behind him wherever he goes. There is no getting rid of him either. He sticks like gorilla glue.

@Texas Maverick, that was cold. Effective but cold.

For the record, Vicksburg is 2.5 hours drive from here. So I really can't follow him around like a puppy. Lost dog, maybe.

That’s great news!! Vicksburg is a cool town and much closer to where I live! I was born just north of Vicksburg in Clarksdale. The BEST tamales are at Sollie’s Tamales in Vicksburg!

Moving is stressful and not a lot of fun… so wishing you well!!

Great big hugs!!

Well wishes to the whole family for a smooth move.

You're closer to Tennessee and maybe someday, I'd love to drive over just to say 'HI' and meet

'The Legend' in person.

If I ain't mistaken, Jim Hastings Leather is in Mississippi.  I love his work and he's a great feller.

God Speed.

Praying for a smooth, speedy and safe move! Sending positive thoughts for your new business location as well. As others have said you can work anytime so focus on your family and grandkids, they are what’s important!

We make a similar move 5 years ago. Both of our Son's and our five grandkids live south of Tucson. We moved there and love it. It's great to watch the grandkids as they grow up. Johnny Meadows

Good for you and your family, Jim!

I still have the leather rig (Belt, holsters, SG belt) from you as my only setup and still shoot the Rodeo's I got from you.

You'll be about the same distance from me, maybe 10-15 minutes closer, only now you'll be east not northwest... Well until we do the same next year when my wife retires and we move to MO. close to the area where we're from, Where 2 boys and 4 grandkids are as well as my brother and dad are (He turned 90 in February).

Safe travels!

Appreciate the kind words and encouragement.

We have been very fortunate to live no further than a couple of miles from them their entire lives. They never had to ride a bus because my wife shuffles them around and they don't know what a babysitter is because of us. We make every school function whether it's sports or recitals. Uhh, I prefer the sports. 🙂  Our lives are very intertwined with theirs and we want to keep it that way. As they say, grandkids complete the circle of life.  So we want to be there with them at the finish line.

Thank you!!
