@Randy Saint Eagle, SASS # 64903 do you think there might be interest for a black powder posse for this match?

I don’t know? Many of the ones I know that shoot black powder shoot with friends or family that shoot smokeless.

Safe travels, my friends.

Will the match photographer’s work be available on the new website?
You know what they say — if it’s not on Instagram, did it even happen? 😄

Jokes aside, professional photography plays a huge role in growing the game. It gets new people — young and old — interested, and really captures the spirit and energy of the matches.

Every event should have a dedicated photography team for live action and a portrait setup for all the cowboys, cowgirls, gunfighters, and saddle tramps. It's not just about memories — it’s about celebrating the culture and sharing it with the world.

Pilgrim should have them ready in a few days and they should be linked to our Facebook pages and probably the new website as well. I don't do Instagram and I don't know if Joe does or not? He's not a pro just a club member offering his time to do this in between building holsters and his other leather work.

Superlative.  How do I isolate & save my posse picture?

I'm on a MacBook Air, so I 'click' on the photo, then 'two finger click' on my track pad, and choose 'save image as'.

If not using a Mac, steps could be the same.  'two finger click' would be a right click if using a mouse.

On my HP, I clicked on the picture and there were 3 dots in the top right corner, I clicked on that and then clicked download.

Thanks

Train wreck award is a cool idea, something different.  Oddball awards like this should make a comeback.

Buzzard Boil in CT does an award for 'Clean with a P'.

The Train Wreck token is not an official Wartrace Regulator award. It's something some of us carry around in case we hear of someone having a really bad day, in hopes of brightening that day up a bit. Hard to make it official as it's word of mouth and near impossible to track across the board.

I always have train wreck pins with me in my cart, I forgot to bring them to the banquet, I had planned on passing them out but forgot to bring them. I am thinking everyone in Posse 15 except for two shooters deserved one.

"ARE YOU TOUGH ENOUGH TO WEAR PINK?"

We will once again be collecting money for the American Cancer Society in honor of Papa Dave and all others who have lost their battle with cancer. We set Thursday as "ARE YOU TOUGH ENOUGH TO WEAR PINK" Day and ask that everyone wear something pink. We will be collecting money all weekend and will send 100% of it to The American Cancer Society.

There will be collection jars at the office and on Thursday at the Dance Hall. If you would like to donate by, check please make it out to The American Cancer Society and we will send them in with the check for whatever cash is collected.

I think everyone has been touched in some way by cancer, I know my wife and I have, and hopefully this money will help a little in the search for a cure or at least better treatment.

Thanks

Randy

Thanks again to everyone who came to shoot with us! We try to do our best but without you, the shooters, we wouldn't have a match!

Thanks to everyone who donated to the American Cancer Society, we collected $1846 this year.

Congratulations to all the Winners and I hope to see everyone back next year!

Randy

I just wanted to thank everyone who has donated to our American Cancer Society collection through the years. We started the "Are You Tough Enough To Wear Pink" at the Tennessee State Championship in 2013. I have to admit this wasn't an original idea, I first saw it at a mounted shoot in Murfreesboro. It was the "Outlaw Annie Shoot For The Cure" and I was amazed at all the pink they had on, including the horses.

Our first year in 2013 we collected $322.20 and our best year was 2018 when we collected $7200. Total over the 13 years we have collected $42,889.40! I am very happy that our State Championship (with the help of lots of generous Cowgirls and Cowboys) has been able to send this much money to the American Cancer Society.

Thanks again!

Randy

I still have my train wreck pin you gave me at Wartrace several years ago at my first Outlaw match. I earned it and will never give it up. I also have never shot anything but Outlaw since.

 Thanks Tom B.
