Track and Rugby is on for this year too. I was walking through the house the other day and she picked me up and ran through the house with me. It ain't cool being a 220 pound hard and mean looking cowboy and having your 14 year old daughter run around with you. It just aint right. She's actually been a sass member for about 9 years. Rowdy Riley is her alias. Her mom's alias is Tennessee Whiskey. I can't get either one to shoot with me though. Probably skeerd of my hoodoo! Of which there's about to be a whole whirlwind of it at Wartrace! More like they don’t want to make you feel bad because they can shoot circles around you. 🤣 2 Quote

Tn Tombstone Posted May 29 Posted May 29 I talked to Ruby Ruthless about the new Range Operations Basic Safety Course (ROBS) and this is what I need if you plan to attend the class. Go to SASSnet.com, click on The Shooting, go to training and safety and click on Student Course Material. Print it out, read it maybe. Print off the ROBS Student handbook and bring it with you. They have not had anything printed up yet and they want any input before it goes to press. If you are interested in taking both classes print off the Cowboy Action Shooting (CAS) handbook and bring it with you also. I will be willing to teach both in one day. You have to have ROBS before you can take CAS but you can take both of them in one day. There is not a refresher course offered so $25 each for ROBS and $5 for CAS. I am going to be interested to see how this goes and if any other instructors wish to join me you will be welcome. If you do not have a printer let me know and I will print up a few extra copies and maybe get Randy St Eagle to print up a few extras too. See everyone on Thursday 2 Quote
La Sombra Posted May 29 Posted May 29 (edited) @Tn Tombstone Regarding the ROBS and CAS courses, how long will both courses take? (I am trying to decide if I can get Long Range and Pocket Pistol side matches in and still take the new courses.) La Sombra Edited May 29 by La Sombra 1 Quote

Widder, SASS #59054 Posted May 29 Posted May 29 This is a disturbing news story: The Annual Banana Pudding Festival/Contest event is being held in Murfreesboro on Saturday, June 7th. For those of you that aren't aware, TW is from Murfreesboro and there ain't a bigger Nanner Pudding fan in all of Tennessee. But here is the most disturbing part: rumor has it that a couple Cowboys, who remain nameless but initials are BB and KK, secretly arranged for this Festival to be on June 7th, just to agitate TW's shooting performance. I have convinced ole TW that I didn't have anything to do with it although I was aware of its original date to be the following weekend after the TN State and its organizer is a close friend of mine..... Please show TW a little respect and kindness and try not to mention this event during the match. He's already getting the 'shakes' knowing he will miss this festival. ..........Widder 8 Quote

I would never deprive myself of the opportunity to whoop up on TW. With him being so busy raising a professional athlete the chances to pick on him have been few and far between. Now if Riley decided to strap on some cowboy guns I would be worried about getting whooped. 4 2 Quote

Randy Saint Eagle, SASS # 64903 Posted May 30 Author Posted May 30 I just wanted to remind everyone that this is a SASS Match and SASS Rules apply. I was at an Annual Match earlier this year and there was a male competitor on an adjacent posse wearing a short sleeve shirt. This is from SHB pg. 4 Thanks Randy 3 Quote
