I was almost ready to try electrofishing but had to pull the stopper in the campsite to drain it overnight.  😎

 

I am going to the festivities at the campground again this year....and flang some lead downrange at the match too.  It's always a fun time in Tennessee.

Looks like I’ll still be in a cast for the match. Doctor put another one on Friday when I went in for a follow up. Says at least three more weeks and maybe six!!

 

Still planning on being there for at least a short visit and to see a couple vendors.  
 

Been too long since I was able to shoot this match!!

Update! RO 1 and RO 2 are no longer classes. Now the class will be ROBS (Range Operations Basic Safety Course) and Cowboy Module.  Due to the new curriculum refresher courses are not allowed at this time.  If you are interested in taking this class, please let Tn. Tombstone or me know. So far no one has showed an interest. The class will be cancelled if we don't hear from anyone soon.

I'm interested in the new class / curriculum - as long as it does not conflict with the Black Powder match on Thursday, in the morning!  If you offer it in the afternoon, I would like to attend.

Right now it will be Thursday morning.

I am trying to get the new material to teach. I have looked at the Power Point presentation and it is pretty good but I do not have any of the printed material and I really dont have the resources to print off a bunch of copies. I will see if I get anything from Ruby this week.

TN Tombstone - no need for printed copies.  Even us old Cowboys have laptops' and Surfaces'.  I personally don't need paper, and would prefer electronic notes.

So, if anyone knows of someone who might be a good fit for vendor's row next year (or even this year if the travel swiftly) have them get in touch with me. We (The Wartrace Regulators) believe vendors add greatly to the match and we will make a space for them!

Today is her last day of middle school. It's also her 1st day of basketball practice for her High-school. Track and Rugby is on for this year too. I was walking through the house the other day and she picked me up and ran through the house with me. It ain't cool being a 220 pound hard and mean looking cowboy and having your 14 year old daughter treat you like a ragdoll. It just aint right. She's actually been a sass member for about 9 years. Rowdy Riley is her alias. Her mom's alias is Tennessee Whiskey. I can't get either one to shoot with me though. Probably skeerd of my hoodoo! Of which there's about to be a whole whirlwind of it at Wartrace!
