Subdeacon Joe Posted April 12 Posted April 12 How say you? Caprock Kid Posted April 13 Posted April 13 I fully believe I reached maxed capacity in memory but continue to find fascinating information (like here on the wire!) ; therefore something must leave the memory to make room…like what ever my wife asked me to do yesterday…15 times 1 5 Quote

Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted April 13 Posted April 13 What I do is “put it on a back burner”. Stop trying to remember something. Then if it’s there it comes to me later. Sometimes it comes to me and I have to pause and remember why I wanted to remember it, but I do figure that out. same thing when looking for something, stop trying so hard, then if it’s there I will find it later. 4 Quote
Linn Keller, SASS 27332, BOLD 103 Posted April 13 Posted April 13 I'm undecided. At one pole, there's the Expert. An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure. Alternately, an expert knows more and more about less and less, until ultimately he knows all there is to be known about nothing at all! At the other pole, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. Too often, I know just enough to get in trouble! Why, most times, you could take everything I genuinely know, tamp it down good in a sewin' thimble, and have room to pour in a quart of whiskey on top! 1 1 Quote

Heck my solution when looking for something is if I don’t find it in ten minutes or less I go to the store, buy a new whatever and by the time I get home the one I was looking for will appear smack dab in the first place I had looked! Works every time! Regards Gateway Kid 1 1 Quote

As my nose hit the stream I remembered the aides. Just about broke my neck jerking back. Managed to save them. I’m lucky I didn’t flop on the floor. Phew that was close. CJ 2 1 Quote
Eyesa Horg Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Lost my $800 glasses after only 3 months. Had to plow the 6" of slush off the driveway the beginning of December. As I was getting in the truck, UPS pulled in and it pouring rain. Set my glasses on the plow to get the package from him and uh oh, forgot the glasses until after plowing😞. Found one lens last week! 3 Quote

There are two or three great knowledge experts on this forum like you. One of the others is that guy named Palewolf. The way I see it, whenever he posts stuff, he's about 100% accurate. Can't get much better than that. And when old Palewolfapedia decides to lock a thread, that thread is locked tighter than if he smeared red Loctite on it. 1 4 Quote
