I always thought he was invulnerable. Bleeding. Lung and bladder problems. That don't sound invulnerable.

It gets political, so I'm not sure it's allowed.  Suffice it to say that the movie studios (and those that fund them) support those that want to ban the the things needed for our hobby.  I will not support that by consuming their products.

Sniffin' that kryptonite again!  I do like the dog, but I haven't met many dogs I don't like better than most folks.  Haven't done TV or movies in better than 15 years.

I thought the same thing ! Here’s a very lengthy explanation of why he’s bloody in the opening scene. I think it’s just the writer’s choice.

Superman doesn't bleed.  Gunn's explanation is adding social commentary to a character who never espoused any.  Another attempt at trying to hype a comic book character.  Won't bother with this movie.

I have to pass on this one.

I don't like CGI dominated movies or the like. This seems like another one of them.

Hope everyone that like the Superman genre enjoys it though!

Superman has been shot and stabbed by kryptonite bullets and knives. One of the dr.s at star labs patched him up.

When fighting doomsday he was pierced by spikes and fought to a standstill then 'killed'.

In Superman 2 with reeves gave up his powers and got punched in a bar fight and was amazed at the sensation of pain and blood.

Other kryptonians, metallo and brainiac have made him bleed as well as a few others throughout the years.

Parts of this movie was filmed here in Cleveland! Superman’s hometown! I will definitely see this. Looks good to me!

Well at least they didn’t completely change the character. 🙄

He can still beat on Batman.

With one hand and Robin too 😂

Not sure which I think is dorkier.

The Superman emblem on the door to his super secret fortress of solitude.

Or his robot servants (Superman has robot servants?) wear capes.

What’s woke about it? Did you see the trailer?

Go listen to the trailer reviews.  He is standing up to climate change and stands up against immigrant deportation. Your call.

Best Wishes

I don’t need trailer reviews I have my own mind. I don’t see anything woke at all! He’s battling monsters and saving people like he always did! 🙄

Send him around.  He doesn't frighten me.

The only "super heroes" that do are The Incredibles.  :D

Hell, guys, I'm a Marine.  All I'm afraid of is rust and left wing politicians...and The Incredibles.  ;)

I think Superman could wipe out the Incredibles with a paint brush, after all they’re just cartoons! Superman is real don’t ya know? 😂😂

He could also wipe out left wing politicians but I don’t think he can help with rust! 🙄

Me too.  Haven't been in a theater for about five years and that was against my better judgement.....but some friends invited me and I just couldn't turn them down.

I don't like crowds, rude and totally inconsiderate people, people talking throughout the movie, way too cold air conditioning, the price of food and drinks and lousy choices available, having to drive (especially at night), not being able to stop the movie to go to the head or fridge, strange smells, no dogs allowed to watch with me and be petted, not able to  back up or skip forward or pause or change channels, (or just shut it off and go away), no control over the volume, not being able to play with my guns or doing word-find puzzles, trash on the sticky floors, not having my phone available, stupid advertisements in some theaters, most people's choice of artificial scents wafting all over the place, uncomfortable seats, babies crying, being trapped in a germ-infested environment, having to wear outdoors clothes inside in bad weather, having my back to empty spaces, strange smells, having to pay good money to be in such an uncomfortble environment at all, etdamnedcetera.

At home I can watch whatever I've checked out of my local library for free or whatever is on Prime and not have to be infected by any of the things mentioned above.

I'm happy the way I am and how I choose to live.....so there!  :D

The last movie I went to the theatre for was THE Boys in the Boat. Movie about the 1936 American Olympic rowing team. True story very well done! I went in the afternoon, cheaper and hardly anyone there.

I also saw The Hostiles, a western set in 1892, Christian Bale plays an Army Sargent,  that was 7 years ago and I also went in the afternoon with my son and granddaughter. There was about 20 people there! That’s the only time I go is in the afternoon during the week. Bargain prices and no crowds!

Besides Kryptonite, rust is probably one of Superman's banes...he is the 'Man of Steel" after all!:P

Maybe he uses Rustoleum spray paint as underarm deodorant.
