It's amazing how close that soccer ball nest was to where I went in and out. After seeing it, it's funny how you hardly dare to move now! Yep, definitely got the shiver.
Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474 Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 I keep an "Afterbite" tube handy in the motor home and another in the house, just in case. It's mostly ammonia but it does help reduce swelling and itch if you get Zapped.
Eyesa Horg Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 I'm fortunate that I don't usually get to much of a reaction . A little swelling and sting for a bit, then gone. Up on a pole once I got attacked by a bunch of yellow jackets that apparently had a home in the pole 3' above my head near the power lines. Got stung about 15 times, that time made me feel weird and it was less than amusing climbing back down! Took a couple hours to feel sorta normal again. All in a days work!!
