I have noticed something that simply spell SCAM!

So many of the ads on the internet for wonderful sounding products have very detailed info about the amazing gizmo that they are pushing but I can't find a price for it!

Some of these ads are in places like Amazon (A company I enjoy doing business with) and even Harbor Freight, Home Depot, and others.

What are they trying to hide?

It's not your imagination, I've seen it too.

Like your honored self, if it's not priced, I fight shy of it.

These days folks don't care what a thing costs, they care what the payment is per month

Not true

How hard do you have to work to find out what a car cost? Most ads for autos, furniture or even appliances show a per month $ not the price.

And there are at least 3 services that email me that at point of sale they will finance as little as 100 dollars.

4 easy payments of ...

Monthly payment is the driver not total cost

I think it's to get more activity (clicks) on the site.  Something ti do with getting it higher in search engines.

I just Add To Cart, then View Cart, look at the price,  then Remove From Cart.  Costs me an extra 20 to 30 seconds.

Think about going shopping.  You see something interesting on the shelf, look for the tag on the front of the shelf,  lean in real close to try to read and make sense of the Product Description that's printed in 3.5 point font to make sure the $1.29 is for the #3 can that's right above it and not the #303 can a foot to the right.

I find that more aggravating and time consuming than a few extra keystrokes on the computer

Then they bug you about leaving something in the cart. Heck they bug you even if you just look. Kind of like an electronic topless bar…

You know, table dances and such.

Never have a problem once I remove it.

'course, I don't go surfing electronic topless bars looking for table dances.

More risqué than Blue Press?

On a completely different level.

Why ogle a Blue Press Hottie when you could see this?

Or This…and these could be yours. Cheap by comparison…and they don’t judge, complain or leave you.

I'm 83 years old as of yesterday.  I can't afford 20-30 seconds so I just move on.  Not my loss.  Theirs.  Not enough that they will even notice....unless several thousand people do the same thing.

So...you'll spend 20 to 30 minutes browsing other sites to find the price in order to save 20 to 30 seconds.

Makes sense to me!

DO NOT project your fantasies or proclivities on others. It’s rude and impolite. :P

20-30 seconds? Must be a slow reader. For me it’s 10 or less.
