I see a lot of AI fails when it is used to narrate videos.

I was able to capture this one easily.

It is bread that was preserved when Vesuvius erupted and buried Pompeii!

I was watching this idiotic video last night. Three homeowners association security guards show up at the resident's house and they're going to arrest him for violating the ordinances.

The problem was he was the county sheriff, and he called some of his people out there and they arrested the phony cops and it was fun.

It was all made up, but it was kind of funny to listen to.

The AI narrator pronounced HOA as one word - hoah.

I was watching another one, which was telling about some firearms related something or other back in the past. Instead of saying "in 1947", the AI would say "in one thousand nine hundred and forty seven". Every time it gave a date it would break it down into the individual numbers. "The war of one thousand eight hundred and twelve". Like that.

Yeah it’s laughable. But it’s no joke when you consider what the state of the art was forty years ago.

Here’s a f’rinstance. In the early 70’s the story was that IBM took a bath attempting natural language translation and abandoned the project as undoable after spending ten million dollars on it. Now many rely on Google translate, and even some of its results are laughable if you pay attention.

Well would you look at that. A California Prop 65 warning pressed into the top of the bread loaf.

I got my very first demo of AI using GROK which is the Elon Musk AI product.

My son develops ACH automated clearing house software which runs in SQL databases and web servers.

He is a subscriber to the full GROK product, and did a demo for me over Zoom.

He demo'd what GROK could do for writing SQL code.. in a few words... stunningly remarkable.

I've been writing code for 50 years and was astounded at what GROK could do to create SQL code.

When asked, GROK said it is very fluent in loud speaker design.
It understands bass reflex cabinets, vents, vent velocities, and horn loaded designs.
All of which are my cup of tea.
