32-40 piece of brass or a dummy cartidge

Would anybody have a piece of 32-40 brass or a dummy cartridge.  I came across a single shot rifle and I think that it is what it is.

I would recommend having a gunsmith cast the chamber with Cerrosafe or the like. Just dropping a cartridge in is not the best way to determine a chamber.
