Marlin Buckhorn,SASS 51727 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 I have this Replica Firearms Co. Walker cylinder for sale. I got it in a box with other stuff at an auction. Cylinder has traditional Walker engraving and is marked Italy. No nipples. Anywhere I might find a value (if any) for this? As always, thanks for your help, Marlin
PaleWolf Brunelle, #2495L Posted March 10 Posted March 10 "Leonard Frank Allen had started Replica Arms, in El Paso, Texas, in 1962, with the first Colt 1847 Walker replica, made by Armi San Marco. In 1965 the company was sold and moved to Marietta, Ohio, with Ken Phelps as President. In circa 1971, Replica Arms was bought out by Val Forgett and Navy Arms." SOURCE
Prairie Dawg, SASS #50329 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Your best bet is to put it up on Ebay or Gunbroker for about $50. Ebay and GB both are auctions, and in my experience, good/desirable items get bid up to an acceptable price, and both have a country-wide audience. So, you are more likely to get a good price for it. --Dawg
Marlin Buckhorn,SASS 51727 Posted March 11 Author Posted March 11 I had thought of the pencil holder idea. Thanks for your thoughts as well Prairie Dawg!
