Was shooting a Navy Arms BP frame 45 Colt 1873 this weekend when the gun locked up. Upon removing the cylinder I discovered the firing pin bushing was gone.

I can find a part online (probably uses a Colt part?) but what is best way to install this?

Send in to a gunsmith?

Thanks for any helpful suggestions.

I don't think Colt bushing will fit. Made by Pietta?

I bought this Colt first generation like this.  I sent it to Bill Fuchs for repair of action. He didn't feel the crude pining of the bushing was a problem. 2039972066_ColtSAA38Specialbushing6252022.jpg.493ec313cfd7ac7f3faf31e658e00369.jpg
