I don’t think that list is correct. I know the DEI programs were canceled and some of those words are directly from DEI but not all.

Wonder how many people were on the committee to determine which words were eligible for the list and how much taxpayer money was spent on this meaningless, stupid BS.

You probably do not want to know.

I was volunteered (voluntold) for a panel on adding words like the list Marshal posted at my last job to all documents, memos, published documents, hiring notifications and job postings and all media correspondence. Anything broadcast via email was to have words from a similar list. The panel meeting was 3 hours. It would be an ongoing monthly panel meeting to be held on the first or second Friday at 1:00 every month until whenever.
It was to follow the “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” policies adopted by my agency.
The meeting would be held at headquarters in downtown Los Angeles.
I was the only white, male, heterosexual, over 50, man in the room. There were around 40 people there.
If you have ever heard the term “micro-aggressions” I can tell you I witnessed a lot of those when I walked into the room and for the first half hour I was there.
30 minutes was all I could take. I left. As I was leaving the smarmy estrogen panel leading the fiasco at the front of room all stared at me as I rose and headed towards the door. The ring leader, loudly asked “And where are you going?” In a very snotty fashion.

Being a non-PC man I stopped and turned and as loudly as I could speak without yelling said “I don’t know who here decided to have a meeting of this nature on a Friday afternoon, but they obviously don’t start work at five in the morning and live 32 miles from this facility. Traffic is going to suck and I haven’t got time for this sh**! You all have a grand afternoon. I don’t intend to waste the taxpayer’s dollars being a part of this.”

The room went dead quiet.
I smiled, bowed my head, turned and left.
My Sr Executive Officer tried to call me 3 times on my ride home. I don’t answer calls on my motorcycle even though I can with my Bluetooth set up.
When I got home I called him back. He answered the phone laughing saying “So, how many minutes did you last in that bull sh** meeting? We have a pool going here…”

This surprised me as I was expecting a butt chewing and he is the one who sent me in the first place.
I told him “About 30 minutes.”

”Well, that’s what I heard. I got a call after you left. The woman wasn’t pleased. I told her you have a lot going on and that you won’t be attending any more of those.” A month later berated me in front of our management team for making him look bad.

I think he sent me to screw with me.
He was a two-faced SOB and a backstabber that will throw you under the bus in a heartbeat.
He and all that other BS is why I left in ‘22, not January of ‘26 as I had intended.
Life is too short for that crap.

Life is way, WAY too short for mindless psychobabble bull****.

Left the first "team" meeting after lasting about 5 minutes.

Owner of the company "Where are you going?"

Me "To do my job, 'cause this useless bull**** doesn't get my job done."

Never had to go to another "team" meeting.

As a long term (35+ years) Purchasing Agent for my city, I got to know where a lot of the bodies were buried and had an excellent "Posse" of other like minded senior staffers.

When I was called in to help with the building specs, design and built in furbishing of a new community centre, my first question was: "Are we building this for people or the animals?"

The Alderwoman whose ward the new centre was being built in went ballistic: "MY people are NOT animals!" Then knowing the ward she represented, I responded:

"Ruth, when I can walk into the lobby of a community centre and find human excrement of the floor, the seating cushions burned and slashed, the toilets repeatedly deliberately blocked, taps and faucets snapped off, hardwood basketball court floors stabbed and carved, I  don't know what you call it, but to me - That's animals!"

She got up and left.

The Commissioner of Rec & Parks said: OK, now maybe we can get some work done!"

Since I was also sitting on the committee working on the design of our new Police HQ with it's cell block I had some ideas to minimize the vandalism. Worked out pretty good, if I do say so.

I think you insulted the animals in this description of her people.

The words being removed from Federal Documents, Literature, Websites, etc. are part of a more sinister plot within our country. The folks pushing these DEI ideals and ways are themselves pretty much, well, I am trying to say this without being overly mean… they are ignorant of the true plan of those that fund and push these ideals.
This whole Diversity, Equity and Inclusion process is literally based on Marxist ideals. I started to list the people and corporations involved but that might create a real problem for SASS HQ. They do have AI that looks for anyone disparaging them and they do come after people.
The bottom line is this insidiousness started in San Francisco and branched out to include numerous organizations. They created a cover organization called G*A*R*E* - look them up without the asterisks.
They started infiltrating local government agencies in CA then did the same in other like minded states. In 2018 they had worked their way into 32 cities and localities. By 2022 they had something like 420 local govt agencies nationwide involved. K. Harris brought it to Washington DC. The Pres shoved it down the throats of all federal agencies and offices.

You may think I am nuts, but that’s okay. I am not wrong.

EDIT: This process I mentioned above is exactly how the Nazis started out in Germany. They weaseled their way into local governments and then spread throughout every German agency in less than a decade.

When will IRS be removed?

Because of the campaign to eliminate DEI from government documents, photos, etc., a photo of the B-29 Enola Gay is being removed because of the word "Gay" painted on it!  "Enola Gay" had nothing to do with any kind of orientation., It was the name of Col. Paul Tibbets' mother, Enola Gay Tibbets, who encouraged her son to ignore his father's not wanting his son to take up flying.  How stupid can they get?   (And the 509th is still flying...B-2 bombers.)

If they’re eliminating DEI why would they get rid of The Enola Gay? I’m confused.

I would think they would be adding it back!

Trailrider, do you mean like this?

Probably “knee-jerk”, but isn’t everything these days?
While I applaud the new administration’s team on their verve, vim & vigor I think they may be going too far, too fast, in some cases.

Close, a group of baboons is a Congress. Pretty Good description if you as me.

A group of owls is a parliament. Sounds like an oxymoron to me.
