Eyesa Horg Posted March 6 Posted March 6 What is the issue they always come up with for lethal injection as in this one not being always available? Call the nearest Veterinarian, they seem to do the deed without suffering. At least my beloved fur kids have never appeared to suffer, only us for the loss. Pubic hanging works for me on the POSs. 8 Quote

Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted March 7 Posted March 7 I have always thought a guillotine was a perfect execution device. Inexpensive, portable, low maintenance, no special training to operate, and 100% effective.....and they could have the inmates in the prison wood shop make them and sell them to other prisons. 2 Quote

Now if the blade was sharpened on cement, like a shiv, so that it might need a shove to finish the cut, like the real guillotines did toward the end of the day… Quote
Rye Miles #13621 Posted March 7 Author Posted March 7 The last firing squad execution was in 2010 details below: https://deathpenaltyinfo.org/resources/high-school/about-the-death-penalty/methods-of-execution Quote

Dapper Dave Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Drug companies are often picketed and employees doxxed by leftists if it is revealed that they sell execution drugs, so they fight to remain anonymous and the Left fights to expose them. Expect that article to start some limited campaigns to have police departments to stop buying Winchester ammo. Seriously. Executions are fricking cicuses and a pain to work around. I fully support them, but they are a pain in the behind for everyone involved. 1 1 Quote

I remember a few executions by firing squad over the next 59 years. Not many, maybe three or four. I also remember people protesting against it and being horrified by the "barbarian" method. I also remember Dad telling someone that "Dead is dead! It is a way more humane way than his victims died and I don't think this cull suffered nearly enough." Then he turned around and winked at me and it was never again discussed in our house. It seems I recall a hanging, too, but I'm not sure where it was. Seems the execution was delayed because no one was found who was qualified to hang anyone. Finally one was found (in Belgium?) and came to do it. I'm not sure about any of this because I was quite young and my remeberer thingy doesn't work very well.....if at all.....any more. Edited March 7 by Forty Rod SASS 3935 2 Quote
Pat Riot Posted March 7 Posted March 7 This murderer will be executed at 18:00 hours or 6:00 PM EST today. 23 years and 11 months after brutally murdering his girlfriend’s parents. He is now 67. He openly confessed in court to the killings. He should have been dead within 24 hours after his admission. He’s had a long enough life at the taxpayer’s expense. 4 4 Quote

Blackwater 53393 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 It should be done in a public place with televised coverage piped into every classroom in the country with a brief explanation of the reason and an admonishment that, “If you do what he did, you’ll get some of the same!” 4 Quote
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 I would not watch. I hate crowds, crowd behavior, even on tv. Quote
