Cowtown Scout, SASS #53540 L Posted March 6, 2025 Posted March 6, 2025 On this date March 6th, 189 years ago in 1836 the Alamo fell to Mexican forces of Santa Anna. Six weeks later at San Jacinto the cry "Remember the Alamo" would be used during that battle which included the capture of Santa Anna.
Tex Jones, SASS 2263 Posted March 6, 2025 Posted March 6, 2025 I can't get the link to the story copied but, ABC News reported today the the source of the limestone used to construct the blocks used in the building of the Alamo has been discovered. New blocks will be fashioned and used in the reconstruction of the Alamo.
