Botas? Sort of!

At the match today I asked Hombre de Tejas if he stole a pair of little kids chaps to make his botas.  He said yes, they were his son's, but his son is 30 years old now.

Yep kind of short (or worn too high)   - Botas normally start somewhere below the knee and go all the way to the boot.  Those look more like kids chinks rather than kids chaps.
