Lawdog Dago Dom Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Already into the new year with at least one shooting per day, Chicago's solution is to search (illegally) the cars of firefighters without warrants, probable cause, or exigent circumstances. Looking for concealed carry potential violations. Apparently fire stations are the cause of significant shootings in Chicago. Wow. I swear, you can't make this stuff up! Blackwater 53393 Posted March 1 Posted March 1 There are, potentially, stiff penalties for illegal search and, if it occurs, seizure! It is also illegal to impersonate a law officer. While I am not generally a union supporter, the union in this case should be all over this with attorneys and union representatives pounding the mayor’s door down and flooding the courts with lawsuits and criminal charges!! If I were a union member, I’d be in the union office, screaming at the top of my lungs for action by my representatives!!
