The stool has not been found. I can't believe that no one has turned it in to the lost and found. Who ever has it may keep the stool if that is what you wanted. BUT PLEASE return the cover.

Thanks,

im not sure how folks loose things like this at a range but it happens all the time at ours , cant tell you how many lawn chairs i have that were destined for the dumpster because the owners didnt reclaim them [we hold at least two months] i hope you get yours back ,

Several years ago, at Givens Ferry I left my stool on our final stage. While loading up my cart and visiting with the other posse members I just forgot it. When loading up the truck I realized I had left the stool on the last stage. I walked back to the stage which was a good distance away and found the stool setting just where I left it. I am sure some folks saw the stool and they knew I would be back for it. The Cowboy Community is populated with folks that are honest, caring, and love their sport. I am happy to be a part of it.

OLG - I think your right. There were a lot of spectators there.

IIRC, there have been guns stolen from EOT.

Don't recall if it was from a competitor's cart or a vendor.

A fellow shooter didn't take it! ;)

What makes you say that? 2005 End of trail a fellow shooter needed a screwdriver so I let him use my multi tip Brownell's and he never returned it!!!!!!!

I had a shotgun stolen and a three gun match about 15 years ago.  The police still haven't recovered it.  Pretty sure someone took it while we were tearing down stages.  I was about as shocked as you'd expect.

Walking down the path in the rain at EOT, I spotted a canvas revolver case beside the path.  Naturally it had two revolvers inside.  I went from stage to stage asking if anyone had lost a firearm.  No one spoke up, so I turned them in to the staff.

It turns out a pard had sent two revolvers to be engraved and he had picked them up at EOT.  He placed them in his cart and did not miss them since he was not shooting them.

He has them now.

At EOT 2023 I used one of the blue rooms just across the way from the Cart Corral on a busy Saturday afternoon. As I was buttoning up I noticed a black concealed carry type waste pouch laying in a back corner of the restroom. When I picked it up I knew by the weight and feel that it had a revolver and wallet and possibly a cellular phone in it. I didn’t open it and took it right to the office in the main tent where it was turned in to Lost and Found.

I guess it's a good time to remind folks to put your alias on ALL your stuff. Silver and black sharpies (inside gunbelts etc), covered with clear tape on some surfaces, or fingernail polish etc.  It's unusual if I shoot with Capt Baylor and don't find something that fell off his cart :) but it's all marked.

Of course that was not the issue with the OP's missing item.  Probably the size of the event had something to do with it.

That's a really good point.  I need to remember to do that with all my stuff.

And while you're at it, check all the screws on conchos, chicago screws on belts, etc.  I remember to check gun screws but forget about leather until something falls off. :)
