Every news article I read said “Hackman and wife both found dead in their home. Santa Fe Sheriff’s Dept suspects no foul play” then the articles move on to sing the praises of Gene Hackman. Truly weird.

sad  but 05 good long life , im sadder for his 64 yr old wife , she was young to go so soon , i have no idea of the dog

i enjoyed all of his movies , he was a great actor , he never offended with politics and i never saw him involved in things that seemed suspicious in fundraising efforts , i give him credit for being a terrific actor , always believable in the rolls he played , i always thought of him as a success and still do , some of my favorite movies , i think he was a success in his life as an actor - dont know anything of his private life and dont care , i was a fan

She said Mr. Hackman likely died on Feb. 18 based on the last activity from his pacemaker — eight days before the bodies were found.

Mr. Hackman’s autopsy showed severe heart disease, Dr. Jarrell said, including evidence of prior heart attacks and multiple surgical procedures involving the heart. He tested negative for hantavirus
