Looks like about 70% of Yankees wore a beard. Based solely on that one sample, but that's what statistics is.

It's the end of an era.  The last team to change it's standards to allow beards.  In and of itself it's really meaningless, but in a sport as tradition-bound as Baseball, it's a significant change.
