Diamond Curly SASS#57086 Posted February 8 Posted February 8 I purchased some cloth ammo bags from a lady shooter a few years ago listed in the merchants section and would like to order more. I searched the merchant site with no luck. Thank you, DC The ones I ordered had a pattern with John Wayne. Quote

Rev Willy Dunkum, SASS # 61027 Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Lady Pearl did some ammo bags for me a couple two or three years ago. I gave her a fabric bag design with elastic loops to hold ammo, flap that folds over it all and a pouch to hold empty brass. She did fantastic work. I wanted a design or name embroidered on it but she doesn't do that, at least not at that time. It folds nicely into the back pocket while shooting. Just a suggestion. 1 Quote

Billy Boots, # 20282 LTG-Regulator Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Sassy and I have numerous canvas ammo lbags from Jax Leather. Leona aka Frisco Frankie did often vend at big SASS matches and I last saw her at Ben Avery only a few years ago. Our last order of loading bags came in January of 2024 so she was doing some orders in late 2023.. She and husband Fargo travel a lot so seems she does bags when she has time to devote to the projects. We usually order enough to make it worthwhile along with others who do not mind the wait. Leona's bags are excellent and I don't doubt many "copies" are nice also. I bet I have a few Jax bags that are over 20 years old. I bought from Jax when Leona's late husband, Doc, was still with us and that was early 2000s. (I believe he passed in 2005. Such a nice fellow too.) I hope Leona still does a little work. I think the CA address will get her but Reno was the more current address I have. They were traveling out of Reno some. She does not do the excellent suspenders at all and doubt she tackles those canvas shotgun belts either, but hopefully willing to do loading bags. 1 2 Quote

SilverLocks Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Still haven’t been arrested for murder cuz I been hiding in my sewing room because it is too cold to be outside. This is what I came up with today brass bag with loading loops on the inside. Quote
