Eyesa Horg Posted February 6 Posted February 6 That's a mighty impressive collection you got there Scout. Thanks for sharing!
Cowtown Scout, SASS #53540 L Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Here are some photos of rifle grenades in service, WW1 to present.
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Thought this might have something to do with an AB ad I just saw; leaf blowers were used to toss Bud Light cans.
Cypress Sun Posted February 7 Posted February 7 I used to have a couple of these for water balloons. Couldn't use a big water balloon, but one the size of a small/medium avocado would fly about 300' with 3 people using it as shown in the picture below. We tried a pineapple type hand grenade (inert of course) in it once, it went about 300' also. We got pretty accurate with the launcher after a while. I don't think I'd ever try a real, armed grenade in it though.

Pat Riot Posted February 7 Posted February 7 In the Navy I had a knack for using the M79 grenade launcher. I could put a grenade within a couple of feet or even in a floating 5 gallon bucket out to 250 yards. Not sure why I could do it, but I could. The M79 and the riot gun were my assigned weapons for Landing Party duty. The thought of being shot while wearing a grenade vest was somewhat disenchanting… Luckily, I never had to actually worry about that. EDITED for clarity

Hell, I would buy another AR-15 just to try one of those GREMs out.
