Jeb Stuart #65654 Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Shooters handbook, page 43, Glossary of terms "Dropped firearm--a firearm that has left the shooters control and comes to rest at a location or position other that where it was intended" Page 42 RO Pocket card-- "any dropped unloaded firearm on the firing line" SDQ Page 42 RO Pocket card-- "dropped gun loaded" MDQ Page 17 Safety and Handling Conventions-All Firearms-- "Any unloaded firearm dropped on the firing line will result in a stage disqualification penalty assessment. This does not apply to holstered revolvers that remain "in leather" in the event of an equipment failure (e.g., broken belt buckle causing the gun belt or ammo belt to fall) Shouldn't the Glossary of Terms and the RO Pocket cards be amended to reflect the exception?
