watab kid Posted Wednesday at 06:55 AM Posted Wednesday at 06:55 AM seems to me they did a cordial check of that call and found it in compliance with city regs , ill admit there was a time , once upon a time , when i had gotten divorced and my sister moved in with me in my house , she wanted to have a party to celebrate , so we did .....................bought a keg of beer and planned a small party , i had invited my friends and she hers , i had no idea what that might lead to , she had a lot of friends and such ,YES i knew there were band people in her life i knew most of them well , i knew my father was instrumental in the organization of the band as well as very much connected in the city , but i didnt know everyone , including the city attorney and mayor was going to be standing in my driveway when the police arrived , i also didnt know the local biker gang was going to be parked in my front lawn at that time , had one embarrassing moment when one of the bikers that i knew and was one of my younger sisters classmates made a rather rude comment about a young lady in front of my father and the city attorney as we were talking , - nothing was ever said , but i could feel the cringe ....however i think the sentiments were shared in hindsight as it was simply an observation , needless to say no charges were filed and the party went on - glad i was home and didnt have to drive home from there , there was a little beer in the keg in the morning , my friends and i finished it before going fishing the rest of the day , had a wonderful time on the water , with the quiet , and the lack of people time , 1 Quote

Irish Pat Posted Wednesday at 03:42 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:42 PM one of our secretaries also moonlighted at a beauty salon. One late night she and friends were at the beauty shop fixing each other’s hair. the local policeman stopped by to check on them and they ended up dying his hair a different color 1 Quote
Eyesa Horg Posted Wednesday at 04:15 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:15 PM One of first apartments I had 2 roommates. One of them was good friends with a local LEO! Bill would often stop by around 11 pm to visit. Sometimes while partying was going on! It was fun watching our friends try to hide item, as if Bill didn't have sense of smell. He would fill the doorway and just stare at them and then start laughing. The good old days! Now we're all old!! Great memories! 1 2 Quote

Subdeacon Joe Posted Wednesday at 08:06 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 08:06 PM I like big, crowded, noisy parties like that for about half an hour. After that I'm on people overload. 1 Quote
