Couldn't watch because I don't do Facebook but I used to teach ropemaking in Boy Scouts. My troop was an expected regular at the annual Scout-O-Rama with our rope making demonstrations. The boys made their own rope making machines.

I learned rope making in Boy Scouts.  Made several ropes that we used on our farm and I think Dad still has them.  I still use things I learned in rope making like splicing in an end loop and whipping the ends to stop fraying.
