The 357 is a Three Screw model.

Has it been converted already  ?

If it has do you have the parts ?

The 44 is a Super Blackhawk New Model.

Neither one have been converted. The .44 is a flat top so I thought it was just a Blackhawk.

The 44 is not a New Model. It’s actually a very early Flattop with the wrong grip frame on it.

The .44 is a Blackhawk. Says so right on the frame. It is 3 screw so not new model. Serial number indicates made in 1964.

That is likely the case. I questioned the grip frame when I bought it. I know the engraving hurts value but if I need to adjust the price due to wrong grip frame I will indeed.

The horns on the grip frame are just a little proud which supports the idea of not being the original grip frame. Still, I for one, prefer that larger grip frame on the mighty .44 Magnum.

I posted some more photos up close and I see what you’re talking about.

I don’t know who bought that .44 but a great big thank you. I was awful close to caving in and my budget just didn’t allow that.
